The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Cherry Lake. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. During the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Cherry Lake. Man, is there a load of fun things to do in the Klamath Mountains. Near Cherry Lake you find the Buttermilk Trail which is a good hiking trail, and Cherry Lake is a good location to camp, Wells       Cabin Campground is a good location. The high level of precipitation makes Cherry Lake a quite wet location; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. At Cherry Lake you can observe Anthony Peak, and there are some fine whitewater spots on Thomes Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Little Doe Campground; if you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel - Willits is a wonderful choice.                  The Klamath Mountains scenery is always beautiful. You truly ought to love the Klamath Mountains. Do set aside some time for Irish Glade if you're here at Cherry Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Black Butte River offers some delightful whitewater.
