The high level of rain makes Cherry Lake a quite wet place; January is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is July. Don't leave Cherry Lake without first going for a hike along the Smoke Howe Trail; camping at Wells Cabin Campground is always a wonderful experience. Cherry Lake is located in the Klamath Mountains. Summertime at Cherry Lake arrives with       high temperatures in the 90's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 50's; nighttime lows at Cherry Lake throughout the winter usually dip into the 30's. Man, is there heaps of entertaining things to do next to Cherry Lake. Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not pop by Hammerhorn Lake in the neighborhood of Cherry Lake, and a great nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Willits. You can run the rapids of                  Black Butte River in the neighborhood of Cherry Lake, and Anthony Peak is clearly visible from Cherry Lake. These mountains rock, just check out all the cool stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains. Thomes Creek is a good whitewater spot close to Cherry Lake; there are other locations here than Cherry Lake, for example Howard Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Cherry Lake; French Trail is a glorious local trail, and camping is available at Little Doe Campground. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Klamath Mountains.
