Stay the night at Cherry Valley Campground, and soar down the rapids of Cherry Creek - West Fork in a kayak. Man, is there plenty of entertaining things to do in the vicinity of Chain Lakes. Evergreen Lodge Yosemite is a nice spot to get some rest; Chain Lakes is in the vicinity of Pine Valley which       is definitely worth taking a look at. A great deal of rainfall falls at Chain Lakes; most of the snow falls through January while July is commonly the driest month. Don't forget to take a nice little spree to Piute Creek, and you're in all probability into lakes, Camp Lake is one of those close by. Head up to Dodge Ridge and strap some skis to your feet, and Chain Lakes is a pleasant location to camp, Herring Creek Campground is a pleasant location.                  But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada.
