    Go to Chain Lakes if you want to go to a nice lake. Chain Lakes is located in the Central Sierra Nevada. Having a great time in the Central Sierra Nevada is painless. Stay the night at Cherry Valley Campground, and soar down the rapids of Cherry Creek - West Fork in a kayak. Man, is there plenty of entertaining things to do in the vicinity of Chain Lakes. Evergreen Lodge Yosemite is a nice spot to get some rest; Chain Lakes is in the vicinity of Pine Valley which  
   is definitely worth taking a look at.
A great deal of rainfall falls at Chain Lakes; most of the snow falls through January while July is commonly the driest month. Don't forget to take a nice little spree to Piute Creek, and you're in all probability into lakes, Camp Lake is one of those close by. Head up to Dodge Ridge and strap some skis to your feet, and Chain Lakes is a pleasant location to camp, Herring Creek Campground is a pleasant location.
 
               But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. During your visit to Chain Lakes you'll meet some people from Phoenix Lake-Cedar Ridge for sure. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant nearby hotel is Pinecrest Chalet; if you come at the right time of year, Stanislaus River - Middle Fork offers some brilliant whitewater. Summer brings highs in the 60's to Chain Lakes with nighttime lows in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Chain Lakes tend to be in the 10's.
