All through the summertime highs here at Chain Lakes get into the 60's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Chain Lakes fall into the 10's. Americas Best Value Inn Yosemite Westgate Lodge is a fine place to get some rest, and paddling on Cherry Creek - West Fork is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Having a glorious

| | time at Chain Lakes is trouble-free. Drift down the rapids of Stanislaus River - Middle Fork in a kayak, and what would winter be without some skiing at Bear Valley. Be careful coming to the Central Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to return back home again. While you're here at Chain Lakes you will meet lots of folks from close by Phoenix Lake-Cedar Ridge. is a glorious site for that. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene locations, why not stop at Grouse Lake near Chain Lakes; needless to say, A journey to Pine Valley is always fun. This lake is one of the great places
here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Gotta ski! Dodge Ridge is a great spot to do that, and you'll hit upon a charming lake called Camp Lake. The high level of precipitation makes Chain Lakes a reasonably wet site; January is when you
get the most snow here, and the driest of the months is July. Yeah, come up here to the Central Sierra Nevada for a great time. Piute Creek flows through this area; if you came to camp Cherry Valley Campground is a good place to do that.
