Do stop by Chain Lakes while you're in this part of California. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada. Summer at Chain Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Chain Lakes. Camping is available at Marmot Rock Campground, and you can see Castle Peak from Chain Lakes. is so wonderful. Chain Lakes is not the only place close by, Duck Lake is a close by lake; Kings River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. And if that's not enough there's loads more cool stuff
to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. You need to explore Crown Rock if you're here at Chain Lakes, and do take a hike on the Don Cecil Trail. Now, you may imagine that's loads but there's even more amusing things to do here in the
Central Sierra Nevada. Camping at Lily Pad Campground is always a brilliant experience, and you can hit the slopes at Sierra Summit in the vicinity. An average amount of precipitation falls at Chain Lakes; the wettest month of the year is commonly January, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is July.
