If you are in this part of California make sure to pay a visit to Central Lake. At Central Lake through the long summer days highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are typically in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Central Lake dip into the 30's. Central Lake is a spot with many visitors from San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont. There's so much to do here at Central Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Trailer Rancho is a good place for that. Courtyard By Marriott Foster City is a great location to spend a night or two. Much rain falls at Central Lake; January is when you get the most rain here; July meanwhile is the driest month. You just can't envision the amount
of outdoors cool things the area near Central Lake has to offer. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Emerald Hills Golf Course, and a beautiful lake like Lower Emerald Lake is a great location to go to. Near
Central Lake you hit upon the Trappers Trail which is a good hiking trail, and if you need a location to stay Crowne Plaza Hotel San Francisco/Peninsula-Ap is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Juan Bautista
De Anza National Historic Trail is a national park worth a visit, and do go to Belmont Creek while you're here at Central Lake. This lake is so wonderful. On a nice day at Central Lake you can take a hike along the Edgewood Trail;
whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Pescadero Creek. And that's not all you can do here at Central Lake.
