If you came to camp Gumboat Campground is a brilliant location to do that, and a visit to Mumbo Basin invigorates the soul. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Central; from Cedar Lake you acquire a glorious view of Boulder Peak. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Cedar Lake; Sisson Calahan National Recreation Trail is a nice local trail, and why not head up to Mount Shasta and strap some skis to your feet. at its best. Camping at Castle Lake Campground is always a good experience; there's pleasant hiking along the Echo Lake Trail. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Cedar Lake.
Lakes are such calm spots, why not explore Cliff Lake close to Cedar Lake; drift down the rapids of Trinity River - East Fork in a kayak.
