California has many beautiful lakes and Cecil Lake is one of them. Take a hike on the Deacon Lee Trail; don't forget to check out Cecil Point while you're here. Cecil Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; December is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is July. Bacon Rind Campground is a splendid place to camp. Through the warmest time of the year highs here at Cecil Lake get into the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs all through the wintertime are generally
in the 40's, and overnight lows through the winter for Cecil Lake tend to be in the 20's. Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Klamath Mountains. If you haven’t been to Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, you ought to schedule some time for it while you're here.
