Not much precipitation falls here at Cecil Lake; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and June on the other hand is the driest. If you need a location to stay Mammoth Creek Inn is a great choice, and camping at Upper McGee Creek Campground is always a tremendous experience. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the Sherwin Lakes Trail, and you can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at June Mountain. So many amusing things to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada, too nice to be true. A nice place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Cecil Lake is Mono Creek; if you get bored of Cecil Lake you could also have a look at close by Lee Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
