Go to Catfish Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Milk Ranch Trail; camping is available at Mill Valley Campground. A lot of rainfall falls at Catfish Pond; January is when you get the most rain here; July meanwhile is the driest month.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. You're sure to bump into some fine people from Clearlake here, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Eel River.
