Castle Lake is a lake worth visiting. While you're here at Castle Lake you can take a hike along the Sisson Calahan National Recreation Trail. Lakes are good; Little Castle Lake is a lake that's close to Castle Lake. After a long day outdoors A-1 Choice Inn is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is fine on Sacramento River. | | summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while Castle Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's. Just can't get enough of Castle Lake. Have a good hiking adventure along the Crags Trail, and why not head up to Mount Shasta and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. hike on the Castle Lake Trail, and as expected, this is a wonderful region for folks who like lakes, Heart Lake is a lake around here. It is very waterless here at Castle Lake typically; the month of December is the wettest with
most of the rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. During your visit to Castle Lake you'll meet some folks from Redding for sure, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sacramento
River. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect close by hotel is Best Western Tree House Motor Inn, and Castle Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Castle Lake Campground is a pleasant local campground.
