California has many beautiful lakes and Castaic Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. The Warm Springs Necktie Trail is a great hiking trail close to Castaic Lake. Castaic Lake gets very little precipitation; February is the month that gets the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more cool things to do here in the Sierra Madre. Going for a hike on the Devil Canyon Trail is always a

| | pleasant adventure, and there's whitewater on Piru Creek for all you adrenaline kick people.
This lake is so wonderful. There is a magnificent hiking trail close to Castaic Lake called the Warm Springs Trail; lakes are such calm places, why not go to Elderberry Forebay. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Castaic Lake has to offer, you can camp at Castaic Lake RV Park, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Piru Creek. Any time is a | |

good time at Castaic Lake if you fancy the outdoors. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Near Six Flags-Magic Mountain, and Grasshopper Canyon is a perfect place to explore.
Rodeway Inn Magic Mountain Area is a nice place to get
some rest. There's so much to do here at Castaic Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Valencia Travel Village is a good spot for that. And if that's not enough there's a load more entertaining things to do in the Sierra Madre.
Castaic Lake Dam is a scenic place in the neighborhood of Castaic Lake, and Castaic Lagoon is a glorious lake nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sierra Madre.
Summertime highs at Castaic Lake generally tend
to be in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. During the winter the highs are commonly in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Castaic Lake temperatures drop to the 30's.
