A great nearby hotel is Days Inn Castaic Six Flags Magic Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the Devil Canyon Trail, and while you're here why not pop by Grasshopper Canyon. If you need a site to stay Rodeway Inn Magic Mountain Area is a magnificent choice; you can stay the night at Valencia Travel Village. Throughout the summertime at Castaic Lake highs are mostly in the 80's; the overnight is quite       colder of course, frequently in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Castaic Lake. Not much rainfall falls here at Castaic Lake; through February this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is July. Man, is there loads of exciting things to do in the Sierra Madre. You're perhaps into lakes, Castaic Lagoon is one of those close by, and Castaic Lake is a nice site to visit for                  more than one day, Castaic Lake RV Park is a nice site to camp nearby. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Sierra Madre, too tremendous to be true. Lakes are magnificent; Elderberry Lake is a lake that's next to Castaic Lake; Piru Creek is a great whitewater spot nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sierra Madre. Go for a hike on the Warm Springs Necktie Trail, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Piru Creek. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are truly plentiful here at Castaic Lake.
