It's always fun to stop by Cascade Lakes. Cascade Lakes is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This is a glorious vicinity for folks who like lakes. Kidd Lake is a lake in the vicinity; there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Heath Falls Overlook Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Lola Montez Trail is a splendid hiking trail near Cascade Lakes, and camping at Cascade Lakes is wonderful fun, Van Norden Campground is a wonderful local campground.

| | The high level of rainfall makes Cascade Lakes a reasonably wet spot; the month with most of the rain is January; the driest month is July. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Soda Springs is near Cascade Lakes; if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Long Valley Trail. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing things the area in close proximity to Cascade Lakes has to offer. The skiing at Boreal is wonderful, and in the event that | |

you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Fordyce Creek.
All the outdoors cool things in the Northern Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back over and over. Dry warm beds await
you at Squaw Valley Lodge, and at Cascade Lakes you can catch a sight of Devils Peak. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada for a delightful time. If you came for an overnight stay Cold Springs Campground is a brilliant
place to camp, and Holiday Inn Express Truckee, Ca is a delightful site to get some rest. Summertime highs at Cascade Lakes generally tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through
the wintertime are in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Cascade Lakes.
This lake is so wonderful. A nice spot for whitewater paddling near Cascade Lakes is Yuba River - South Fork.
