The beauty of Cascade Lake attracts many people from all around. Around Cascade Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; January is when you get the most snow here; the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful. Mount Conness is clearly visible from Cascade Lake, and delightful hiking is available along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12. Skiing at June Mountain is one of those things you just have to do.
And if that's not enough there's

a lot more fun things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. If you came for an overnight stay Sawmill Campground is a great site to camp, and if you need a spot to stay Yosemite Gateway Motel is a magnificent choice. Don't leave Cascade Lake without first going for a hike along the Gaylor Lakes Trail, and Lundy Pass is a good spot to go to. That right there is loads already, but it continues; Cascade Lake has it all. Tenaya Creek has a glorious whitewater paddling
spot close by, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Wasco Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is nice on Tuolumne River; Heidelberg Inn is a nice spot to get some rest. Just can't get enough of the Central Sierra Nevada. There's fine hiking along the John Muir Trail - section 1; if you want to visit some attention-grabbing stuff, visit Conness Glacier. Camping is available at Saddlebag Campground, and needless to say, this is a great vicinity for people who like lakes, Steelhead Lake is a lake close at hand.
Throughout the summertime at Cascade Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Cascade Lake are in the 0's. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada.
