It is very arid here at Carr Lake commonly; January is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is August. Near Carr       Lake you come across a golf course called Sherwood Golf Course; if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Rattlesnake Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A charming lake like Espinosa Lake near Carr Lake is a brilliant place to explore. On a magnificent day at Carr Lake you can take a hike along the Carmel River Trail; why not camp at Monterey County Parks since you're here at Carr Lake. At Carr Lake throughout the summertime months                  highs are in the 70's, and the nighttime is rather cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 60's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Carr Lake.
