Carr Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Summertime highs at Carr Lake usually tend to be in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Highs through the winter are commonly in the 60's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Carr Lake temperatures plunge to the 30's. Take a hike on the Rattlesnake Creek Trail. It is very dry here at Carr Lake generally; January is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is August.

This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Carmel River Trail is delightful fun. There's so much to do here at Carr Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Laguna Seca Recreation is a good spot for that. Float
down the rapids of Carmel River in a kayak, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SALINAS.
