Go to Caribou Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful site for whitewater paddling near Caribou Lake is Salmon River - South Fork, and camping at Ripstein Campground is always a perfect experience. The annual rain here at Caribou Lake is about average; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. Caribou Lake is located in the Klamath Mountains.

North Fork, and there's good hiking along the Tanners Peak Trail. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Klamath Mountains. A pleasant place like Browns Meadow here at Caribou Lake is too good to miss;
