Looking for something close to Caribou Lake? Lower Caribou Lake is in the vicinity, and Trinity River - North Fork is a wonderful whitewater spot nearby. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Klamath Mountains. Caribou Lake is a brilliant spot to visit for more than one day, Ripstein Campground is a brilliant spot to camp nearby. All through the summertime at Caribou Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's. When       the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Caribou Lake. All year is a delightful time in the Klamath Mountains if you like the outdoors. The top of Caribou Mountain is easily distinguished from Caribou Lake; a pleasant journey to Browns Meadow is a tremendous way to spend an afternoon. Caribou Lake gets a typical amount of annual                  rain; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest month of the year is July. Any time is a good time at Caribou Lake if you adore the outdoors. Big Flat Campground is a delightful campground nearby, and you're probably hooked on lakes, Snowslide Lake is one of those nearby. Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is a glorious place close to Caribou Lake, and do take a hike on the Tanners Peak Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains.
