This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something close to Caribou Lake? Lower Caribou Lake is in the vicinity, and Trinity River - North Fork is a wonderful whitewater spot nearby. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Klamath Mountains. Caribou Lake is a brilliant spot to visit for more than one day, Ripstein Campground is a brilliant spot to camp nearby. | | the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Caribou Lake. All year is a delightful time in the Klamath Mountains if you like the outdoors. hooked on lakes, Snowslide Lake is one of those nearby. Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is a glorious place close to Caribou Lake, and do take a hike on the Tanners Peak Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in
the Klamath Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Deacon Lee Trail, and you can run the rapids of Salmon River - South Fork.
