Getting to Lavassi Creek from Cape Lake is easy, and the peak of Bald Eagle Mountain can be distinguished from Cape Lake. water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Feather River - North Fork. Cape Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A good close by hotel is Best Western Rose Quartz, and no need to travel far to stop at
interesting stuff like Chucks Rock. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Cape Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 40's
with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Cape Lake. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Cape Lake. Sandy Point Campground is a tremendous local campground, and Mud Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at.
