Many people like to go to Cape Lake. Cape Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently January, that's the one that snows the most, and July is the month with the least moisture. Near Cape Lake you find the Claremont Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail, and do check out Blue Lake, it's a gorgeous lake. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area in close proximity to Cape Lake has to

| | offer. Cape Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Sundew Campground is a great local campground, and don't leave Cape Lake without first checking out Chucks Rock.
This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water close by, Lavassi Creek is a stream you can check out while here. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Bailey Creek Cottages, and a great location to camp here at Cape Lake is Sandy Point Campground. The Yellow Creek | |

Trail is a nice hiking trail close to Cape Lake, and get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Feather River - North Fork.
So much cool stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada, not enough time. Bald Eagle Mountain
is gorgeous and can be spotted from Cape Lake; there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Cleghorn Bar Trail. High temperatures at Cape Lake through the days of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the
40's. Highs through the wintertime are frequently in the 40's with temperatures at Cape Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This location, the Northern Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors exciting things. Haskins
Valley Inn is a good place to get some rest, and close by you find nice sites like Pat Maloy Ravine.
