  After a long day outdoors Catalina Canyon Resort And Spa is a great spot to spend a night or two, and Cape Canyon Reservoir is a site with many visitors from Avalon. Cape Canyon Reservoir is a great place to visit for more than one day, Avalon's Hermit Gultch is a great place to camp nearby. Taking a little trip to close by Moonstone Cove is a fine idea, and don't leave Cape Canyon Reservoir without first paying a visit to Torqua Spring.
This lake is so
    wonderful. Mount Orizaba is wonderful and can be seen from Cape Canyon Reservoir, and head out on the delightful water at Catalina Harbor.
