     Canyon Creek Lakes is always a pleasure to visit. Summer at Canyon Creek Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the overnight is rather colder of course, typically in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's; nighttime lows at Canyon Creek Lakes during the wintertime commonly fall into the 20's. Just can't get enough of the Klamath Mountains. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Canyon Creek Lakes has to  
   offer, you can camp at Big Flat Campground, and you can run the rapids of Canyon Creek. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Canyon Creek Lakes. Get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Trinity River - North Fork; why not take a little spree to Boulder Creek since you're here.
Canyon Creek Lakes is located in the Klamath Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Near Canyon Creek Lakes you stumble on Stonehouse Gulch which is a great
 
               place to have a look at. Lakes are glorious; L Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Canyon Creek Lakes. Canyon Creek Lakes is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Ripstein Campground is a tremendous place to camp nearby, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Canyon Creek Lakes; Deacon Lee Trail is a magnificent local trail.
The amount of rainfall that falls at Canyon Creek Lakes is close to the national average; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain while July is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is a wonderful local destination here at Canyon Creek Lakes. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Tanners Peak Trail, and Upper Canyon Creek Meadows is a tremendous site to check out.
And that's not all the things to do here in the Klamath Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Little Lake; Caesar Peak is clearly visible from Canyon Creek Lakes.
