camp nearby, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Canyon Creek Lakes; Deacon Lee Trail is a magnificent local trail. The amount of rainfall that falls at Canyon Creek Lakes is close to the national average; the month of
December is the wettest with most of the rain while July is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is a wonderful local destination here at Canyon Creek Lakes. Why not take a refreshing
hike along the Tanners Peak Trail, and Upper Canyon Creek Meadows is a tremendous site to check out. And that's not all the things to do here in the Klamath Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Little Lake; Caesar Peak is clearly visible from Canyon Creek Lakes.
