Campbell Lake gets a great deal of water; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Dry warm beds await you at Baymont Inn & Suites Yreka, and almost certainly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Cliff Lake is just a very short distance away. Having a glorious time in the Klamath Mountains is uncomplicated. Don't leave Campbell Lake without first going for a hike along the Garden Gulch Trail;

| | Spring Flat Campground is a good campground nearby. But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Klamath Mountains. There's fine hiking along the Deacon Lee Trail; get dripping wet paddling on Salmon River. For the duration of the warm months highs here at Campbell Lake get into the 90's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are generally in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 30's for Campbell Lake. | |

This lake is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you came for an overnight stay Indian Scotty Campground is a pleasant place to camp, and there are brilliant
spots to explore along the Tanners Peak Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Scott River is so much fun, and if you've had enough of Campbell Lake, Log Lake is close by.
