This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Belix Trail, and some of the water nearby flows, like Davis Creek. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Camino Reservoir; Grizzly Canyon Trail is a nice local trail, and paddling on American River - South Fork is so much fun. | | nearby hotel is NATIONAL 9 INN. All year is a pleasant time in the Northern Sierra Nevada if you have a thing about the outdoors. The sight of Big Bend from Camino Reservoir is wonderful, and camping at Bridal Veil Campground is always a good experience. At Camino Reservoir all through the warm months highs are in the 90's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's | |

still looking for more outdoors fun stuff just keep reading. Put some time aside to spend at Jay Bird Spring since you're here at Camino Reservoir, and if you want a little side visit, try Jay Bird Canyon. This lake is so wonderful.
This is a good region for folks who like lakes. Long Canyon Forebay is a lake around here, and if you need a site to stay Best Western Stagecoach Inn is a good choice. Camino Reservoir is a wet place that gets much rain; January is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is July.
