If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on American River - South Fork, and a great spot to camp here at Camino Reservoir is Bridal Veil Campground. Having a delightful time in the Northern Sierra Nevada is easy. If you're here, you might as well go to Jay Bird Canyon, and you'll find a delightful lake called Long Canyon Forebay. You       just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the Northern Sierra Nevada has to offer. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Slide Point Trail; swing by Davis Creek it's a brilliant spot to visit. All the water falling down from the sky makes Camino Reservoir a wet site; the month with most of the rain is January, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors NATIONAL 9 INN is a great place                  to spend a night or two. Just can't get enough of Camino Reservoir. Best Western Stagecoach Inn is a good place to get some rest, and do take a hike on the Grizzly Canyon Trail. At Camino Reservoir through the summer months highs are in the 90's. Summer night lows dip down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Camino Reservoir. Camino Reservoir is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Camino Reservoir is right by the Belix Trail, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Jay Bird Spring.
