Beautiful Calvert Lake has much to offer visitors. What a place this is for outdoors folks. All through the warm months at Calvert Lake temperatures are mostly in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Calvert Lake. You could also explore Tinemaha Reservoir while you're here at Calvert Lake; it's close by; you can go for a hike on the Pat Keyes

This lake is so wonderful. Big Seeley Spring is a splendid local attraction, and if you've had enough of Calvert Lake, Twin Lakes is nearby. A tremendous nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Bishop; a quick tour to Goodale Creek is undeniably a glorious idea. It is very dry here at Calvert Lake ordinarily; the month with most of the rain is January, and the driest month of the year is June.
If you came for an overnight stay Aberdeen Resort is a great location to camp, and Taboose Creek Campground is a good local campground. | |

 | ...of Big Pine. Aberdeen is 1 mile to the West of highway 395 at the intersection of Goodale Rd. and Tinemaha rd. A quiet and peaceful place. Aberdeen is a manufactured home, and RV resort There is a store and seasonal cafe with limited hours. Store has RV supplies, groceries, fishing tackle, beer, sodas, and ICE available. We also offer free WiFi access at the store, also on site coin-op laundry facility. Goodale creek flows through the resort. We also have an RV sales office offering Cavco brand Park model cabins for sale. Many spaces available, also spaces on the creek. The mountain view is spectacular. We are located between Taboose and Saw Mill Trail heads. Aberdeen is also in the winter range for the mule deer heard that comes out of Kings Canyon National Park. There are a number of activities available right out of Aberdeen, fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, prospecting, or rock hounding with many dirt roads, and trails that one could spend the day on.
