Calf Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Calf Lake, you could also go to stunning Aspen Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Long High Creek from Calf Lake is painless, and the Marble Mountains casts its shadow over Calf Lake. So many exciting things to do in the Klamath Mountains, not enough time. Everybody loves Back Meadows, and Boulder Peak is simple to spot from Calf Lake. What

Summer brings highs in the 90's to Calf Lake, and the overnight is a bit chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. Inn Yreka is a perfect choice, and you can stay the night at Spring Flat Campground. If the weather is pleasant here at Calf Lake, you can go for a hike along the Deacon Lee Trail; Indian Scotty Campground is a tremendous campground
here. This lake is located in the wonderful Klamath Mountains. The high level of rain makes Calf Lake a reasonably wet site; most of the rain falls through December; July is when it's the driest. Going for a hike along the Garden
Gulch Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Salmon River.
