All the water falling down from the sky makes Calf Lake a wet site; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. The warmest time of the year at Calf Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are generally in the 40's with temperatures at Calf Lake dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.

| | There's whitewater on Scott River for all you adrenaline people. There's so much to do here at Calf Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Indian Scotty Campground is a glorious site for that. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Calf Lake. Baymont Inn & Suites Yreka is a good location to get some rest, and the top of Boulder Peak is easily seen from Calf Lake. hiking adventure along the Deacon Lee Trail, and not far from Calf Lake you'll come across Aspen Lake which is a stunning lake. These mountains rock, just check out all the exciting things to do in the Klamath Mountains. If you came
to camp Spring Flat Campground is a good location to do that, and a range like the Marble Mountains is always striking. Take a hike on the Tanners Peak Trail, and Back Meadows is a delightful place any time of year. If you want
a fine time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Klamath Mountains. Get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Salmon River. Lakes are great; Long High Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Calf Lake. This lake
is so wonderful. Hiking along the Garden Gulch Trail is magnificent fun, and there's some flowing water nearby, Long High Creek is a stream you can pop by while you're here.
