Caldwell Lake is always a pleasure to visit. If you need a location to stay Best Western Route 66 Glendora Inn is a glorious choice. Lakes are perfect; Jackson Lake is a lake that's near Caldwell Lake. If you would like a little side journey, try Dorr Canyon, and camping at Mount Oak Campground is always a nice experience. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Good hiking is available along the Rattlesnake Trail, and after a long day outdoors

Summertime highs at Caldwell Lake regularly tend to be in the 90's, and the nighttime is a bit cooler of course, generally in the 60's. yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mountain High while you're here.
At Caldwell Lake you don’t see much rain; February is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is July. Don't leave Caldwell Lake without first going
for a hike along the High Desert National Recreational Trail, and beautiful scenery and wonderful skiing is what you acquire at Ski Sunrise. This lake is so wonderful.
