If you want to hit the beach, Potbelly Beach is       around here; if you're visiting from Santa Cruz-Watsonville, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful.                  The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Fiver Finger Falls, and if you come at the right time of year, San Lorenzo River offers some splendid whitewater. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Buzzard Lagoon. Rio Sands Motel is a fine place to get some rest; if you're here and you like golf, you can go to Spring Hills Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit San Lorenzo River, and a spree to Rio Del Mar Beach is always a perfect idea. Going for a hike on the Rincon Fire Road Trail is always a magnificent adventure; Marmo's Pinto Lake is a wonderful local campground. Summertime highs at Buzzard Lagoon regularly tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 50's with temperatures at Buzzard Lagoon dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. At Buzzard Lagoon you can make out Bean Hill, and if you came for an overnight stay Uvas Canyon Park is a pleasant location to camp.
