It's always fun to stop by Burro Lake. Burro Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Upper Chiquito Campground is a good local campground; drift down the rapids of Merced River - South Fork in a kayak. On a glorious day at Burro Lake you can take a hike along the Mono Meadow Trail, and a range like the Balls is always delightful. Just can't get enough of the Central Sierra Nevada. If time allows, Yosemite National Park is a national park worth a visit,

| | and a glorious nearby hotel is Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite. This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Balls can be made out from Burro Lake, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Clouds Rest Trail. All through the summertime months highs here at Burro Lake reach the 90's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's; overnight lows at Burro Lake during the winter ordinarily dip into the | |

20's. And if that's not sufficient there's heaps more fun stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Shirley Creek is a delightful stream that is worth a visit, and get soaked paddling on San Joaquin River - Middle Fork. This lake
is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Burro Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bowler Group Campground is a wonderful site for that, and there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Half Dome Trail. Burro Lake
is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area close to Burro Lake has to offer. After a long day outdoors Apple Tree Inn is a brilliant site to spend a night
or two; unsurprisingly, this is a wonderful area for people who like lakes, Chittenden Lake is a lake close by. The yearly rainfall here at Burro Lake is about average; January is when you get the most rain here while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
