A lot of precipitation falls at Burney Lake; December is when you get the most rain here, and July is when it's the driest. The Klamath Mountains scenery is always beautiful. If the weather is pleasant here at Burney Lake, you can go for a hike along the Boundary National Recreation Trail, and paddling on Wooley Creek is so much fun. the Klamath Mountains. Soar down the rapids of Elk Creek in a kayak, and if you have time, Oregon Caves National Monument is a national park worth taking a look at. High temperatures at Burney Lake during the warm days of summer are
in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while Burney Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Burney Lake is a fine place to
visit for more than one day, Spring Flat Campground is a fine place to camp nearby; going for a hike along the Garden Gulch Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
