The beauty of Burney Lake attracts many people from all around. Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is plentiful here in the Klamath Mountains. A journey to Oregon Caves National Monument is worthwhile. Good hiking is available along the Garden Gulch Trail, and if you came to camp Spring Flat Campground is a wonderful place to do that. The Boundary National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best, and the top of Pigeon Roost is easily seen from Burney Lake.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Blue Granite Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and get drenched paddling on Wooley Creek. At Burney Lake all through the summer highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are generally in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Burney Lake temperatures plunge to the 30's. the neighborhood of Burney Lake. A tremendous spot near Burney Lake is Cuddihy Valley. There's so much to do here at Burney Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sulphur Springs Campground is a splendid location for that.
There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Klamath Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Burney Lake; Tanners Peak Trail is a glorious local trail, and drift down the rapids of Elk Creek in a kayak. Burney Lake
sees pretty high levels of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The Klamath Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
