Great little lake if you know how and where to find it. It's not on any map I know of. Oh and they forgot to mention the 2+ mile hike!

Do stop by Burgson Lake while you're in this part of California. Burgson Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Why not camp at Mill Campground while you're here at Burgson Lake, and do set aside some time for Clover Meadow while you're here at Burgson Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Phoenix Lake-Cedar Ridge come to Burgson Lake; if you come at the right time of year, Stanislaus River - Middle Fork offers some brilliant whitewater.

| | And that's not everything there is to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Bear Valley, and camping is available at Niagra Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Burgson Lake; Charity Valley Trail is a brilliant local trail, and you can hit the slopes at Dodge Ridge around here.

spots on Mokelumne River - North Fork, and Sword Lake is a splendid lake close by. Burgson Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the snow falls during January, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Lakes are such
peaceful sites, why not visit Spicer Meadow Reservoir near Burgson Lake, and nice hiking is available along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13.
I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Burgson Lake. Dardanelles Creek
is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at; don't leave Burgson Lake without first going for a hike along the Emigrant Trail. During the summer at Burgson Lake highs are ordinarily in the 60's while night
lows are regularly in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Burgson Lake.
