Great little lake if you know how and where to find it. It's not on any map I know of. Oh and they forgot to mention the 2+ mile hike!

A visit to Burgson Lake is always a good idea. All the outdoors enjoyable things in the Northern Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back persistently. Dry warm beds await you at Pinecrest Chalet, and Clover Meadow is a tremendous site to stretch your legs a bit. This lake is so wonderful. Donnell Lake is a brilliant lake near Burgson Lake, and the Charity Valley Trail is a great hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Niagra

| | Campground, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mokelumne River - North Fork.
This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Burgson Lake reach the 60's while night lows are usually in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are commonly in the 30's, and overnight lows at Burgson Lake throughout the wintertime typically plunge into the 10's. All the | |

outdoors exciting stuff in the vicinity of Burgson Lake will keep you coming back persistently. If you need a location to stay Bear Valley Lodge is a glorious choice, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Dodge Ridge is rather near.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Sierra Nevada. Why not camp at Mill Campground while you're here at Burgson Lake, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13. The
skiing at Bear Valley is wonderful, and going for a hike along the Emigrant Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
Burgson Lake gets lots of water; of all the months in a year January is the one with the
most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Stanislaus River - Middle Fork is a pleasant whitewater spot right next door to Burgson Lake, and why not a little side journey to Dardanelles Creek.
