     This site, the Central Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Don't miss out on a trip to Devils Postpile National Monument since you're here at Bunny Lake; there are other places here than Bunny Lake, for example Cloverleaf Lake. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Central Sierra Nevada. There's whitewater on San Joaquin River - South Fork for all you thrill seekers, and Bunny Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Upper McGee  
   Creek Campground is a fine local campground.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Bunny Lake you can take a hike along the Mammoth Rock Trail, and Edith Lake is a great lake nearby. Summer at Bunny Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Bunny Lake temperatures sink to the 20's.
 
               And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable things just keep reading. The peak of Bloody Mountain can be seen from Bunny Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Mammoth Creek Inn.
A magnificent location to camp here at Bunny Lake is McGee Creek RV Park and Campground, and if you need a spot to stay Rodeway Inn Sierra Nevada is a brilliant choice. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Sherwin Lakes Trail; the slopes of Mammoth Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist.
At Bunny Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly January, that's the one that rains the most, and June is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Mono Creek; hey, Gotta ski right? June Mountain is a great place to do that.
