    A visit to Bunny Lake is always a good idea. That right there is a heap of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Central Sierra Nevada has it all. Going for a hike on the Sherwin Lakes Trail is always a fine adventure; whitewater paddling is good on Mono Creek. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Do go to Bighorn Lake in close proximity to Bunny Lake, it's a pretty lake.

   Bunny Lake typically tend to be in the 70's while night lows are mostly in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Bunny Lake temperatures descend to the 20's. So much amusing stuff to do here at Bunny Lake, too nice to be true. The snow is splendid at Mammoth Mountain; if you're looking for a splendid spree, Devils Postpile National Monument is reasonably near. Bunny Lake is generally  
               a quite waterless spot; the month with most of the rain is January, and the driest month of the year is June.
The peak of Bloody Mountain can be observed from Bunny Lake, and a great close by hotel is Rodeway Inn Sierra Nevada. Be careful coming to the Central Sierra Nevada, you might not ever wanna return home again. If you like skiing, you're in luck; June Mountain is near Bunny Lake, and a tremendous location to camp here at Bunny Lake is Crowley Lake Campland. This lake is so wonderful. There are fine sites to explore along the Mammoth Rock Trail, and why not camp at Upper McGee Creek Campground if you're here at Bunny Lake.
Paddling on San Joaquin River - South Fork is so much fun, and if you need a spot to stay Mammoth Creek Inn is a nice choice.
