If you are in Del Norte county it's always a good idea to stop by Bummer Lake. This lake is so wonderful. One of the main characteristics of the surroundings of Bummer Lake is Bald Hill, and do take a hike on the Elk Camp Ridge Trail. Paradise Flat is a magnificent location here at Bummer Lake; why not take a refreshing hike along the Paradise Trail. So much exciting stuff to do at Bummer Lake, so little time. by the French Hill Trail; Del Norte Golf Course is a golf course close by. This place is excellent, just look at all the amusing stuff to do close to Bummer Lake. There's whitewater on Smith River - South Fork for all you adrenaline
junkies, and the fine people of Crescent City North like to hang out nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Coon Creek flows through this area, and if you're looking for a fine trip, Redwood National and State Parks is pretty near.
High temperatures at Bummer Lake during the summer months are in the 60's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Bummer Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful.
