If you like lakes and you're in this part of California you can check out Bullpen Lake. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada for a great time. A tremendous close by hotel is Rainbow Lodge, and you can stay the night at Carr-Feeley Campground. The sight of Bowman Mountain from Bullpen Lake is beautiful, and the Crooked Lakes Trail offers hiking at its best. Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to go back home again.

| | Poison Canyon is a great spot to look at, and wonderful skiing awaits you at Royal Gorge. The amount of precipitation that falls at Bullpen Lake is close to the national average; most of the rain falls during January, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Bullpen Lake is a wonderful place to camp, Lindsey Campground is a wonderful place, and after a long day outdoors Shinneyboo Creek Cabin Resort is a great place to spend a night or two. so wonderful. Loney Meadow is a good place to stretch your legs a bit; Bullpen Lake is right by the Round Lake Trail. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great planet it would be. There's brilliant
hiking along the Bowman Mountain Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Fordyce Creek. And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do near Bullpen Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Bullpen Lake is a site with many visitors
from Truckee-Grass Valley; while you're here, you could also go to gorgeous Bowman Lake. Summer at Bullpen Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. The
winter comes with highs in the 40's, and night lows all through the winter for Bullpen Lake tend to be in the 20's. There are some great whitewater spots on Yuba River - South Fork, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Soda Springs. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful.
