Bullfrog Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly January,       that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is July. Through the days of summer, highs generally are in the 70's at Bullfrog Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Bullfrog Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Why not camp at Marmot Rock Campground since you're                  here at Bullfrog Lake; on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Red Mountain Trail. A splendid place to camp here at Bullfrog Lake is Trapper Springs Campground; the top of Brown Peak is easily seen from Bullfrog Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place.
