Camping at Voyager Rock Campground is always a great experience; Blackcap Mountain is beautiful and can be made out from here. The John Muir Trail - Pacific Crest Section offers hiking at its best; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Kings River - Middle Fork. An average amount of rain falls at Bullet Lake; January is the wettest month with most       rain, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. Bullet Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Lower Blayney Campground is a good local campground, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Schoolmarm Lake. Good hiking is available along the Don Cecil Trail, and Bench Valley is another magnificent site to visit nearby. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Bullet Lake. Hiking                  is a popular thing to do around Bullet Lake; Sheep Creek Trail is a tremendous local trail, and not far from Bullet Lake you'll discover Twin Buck Lakes which is a scenic lake. And that's not all there is to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada. A visit to Devils Postpile National Monument is recommended. Bullet Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada. Throughout the months of summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at Bullet Lake, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
