Do stop by Bull Lake while you're in this part of California. This lake is so wonderful. Bull Canyon is near Bull Lake and is definitely a great spot to explore, and you're most likely keen on lakes, Asa Lake is one of those nearby. Bull Lake is pretty waterless generally; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. | | Lake you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13. There's so much to do here at Bull Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Highland Lakes Campground is a splendid spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. Northern Sierra Nevada. The panorama of Highland Peak from Bull Lake is beautiful; needless to say, this is a good neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Kinney Reservoir is a lake close by. Now, you may believe that's plenty
but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A great nearby hotel is Best Western Topaz Lake Inn, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Silver King Trail. During the days of
summer highs here at Bull Lake get into the 70's, and the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, typically in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Bull Lake are in the 10's. And if
that's not sufficient there's heaps more amusing stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Do set aside some time for Lower Gardner Meadow while you're here at Bull Lake, and don't forget to take a great little trip to Elder Creek.
There's whitewater on Carson River - East Fork for all you adrenaline people, and if you need a spot to stay Super 8 Gardnerville is a tremendous choice. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Bear Valley.
