If you are in this part of California make sure to pay a visit to Bugle Lake. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. And that's not everything you can do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A nice nearby hotel is Plumpjack Squaw Valley Inn, and camping is available at Wentworth Springs Campground. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Alpine Meadows, and do stop at Ellis Creek since you're here at Bugle Lake.

If you need a location to stay Squaw Valley Lodge is a good choice, and get yourself into a kayak and hit American River - South Fork. Bugle Lake is a wet spot that gets a large amount of rainfall; January is the wettest month with most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month.

This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Silver Creek - South Fork; hiking along the McKinstry Trail is perfect fun. If you came for an overnight stay Pleasant Boat-In Campground
is a nice place to camp; Bugle Lake is not the only location close by, Berts Lake is a close by lake. Bugle Lake in fact is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Have a great hiking adventure along the Loon Lake Trail, and you can hit the slopes at Homewood close at hand.
