Bugle Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Bugle Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; January is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Bugle Lake; the overnight is quite cooler of course, mostly in the 40's. All through the wintertime highs are typically in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures

A pleasant visit to Little McKinstry Meadow is a nice way to spend an afternoon, and float down the rapids of American River - South Fork in a kayak. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Bugle Lake is great! Get wet paddling on Silver Creek - South Fork, and don't forget to take a nice little journey to Ellis Creek. here at Bugle Lake you can take a hike along the McKinstry Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bugle Lake has to offer, you can camp at Wentworth Springs Campground. The summit of Guide Peak can be spotted
from Bugle Lake, and Mineral Springs is a striking place to check out while you're at Bugle Lake. Francis Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Homewood. All the outdoors entertaining things
in close proximity to Bugle Lake will keep you coming back persistently. So much exciting stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada, not sufficient time. Dry warm beds await you at Squaw Valley Lodge; the Poison Hole Trail is
a tremendous hiking trail nearby. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Alpine Meadows is magnificent, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Loon Lake Trail.
