Do stop by Bug Lake while you're in this part of California. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Bug Lake is excellent! Lakes are such serene spots, why not go to Heather Lake close to Bug Lake, and nearby you come across fine locations like Bear Wallow Gulch. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Klamath Mountains. Deer Lick Creek flows through this vicinity, and Bug Lake is right by the Tanners Peak Trail. Bug Lake sees pretty high

There's so much to do here at Bug Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mule Bridge Campground is a brilliant site for that; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Deacon Lee Trail. choice. The summit of Bear Wallow Peak can be seen from Bug Lake; get drenched paddling on Salmon River. This lake is so wonderful. Bug Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Idlewild Campground is a fine local campground,
and a tremendous site like Grants Meadows here at Bug Lake is too nice to miss. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Klamath Mountains. Take a hike on the Garden Gulch Trail, and get yourself
into a kayak and hit Salmon River - North Fork. Throughout the months of summer here at Bug Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during
the wintertime are normally in the 40's; nighttime lows at Bug Lake through the wintertime ordinarily plunge into the 30's.
