A visit to Buckhorn Lake is always a good idea. You could also stop by Aspen Lake since you're here at Buckhorn Lake; it's nearby; Buckhorn Lake is a nice place to camp, Indian Scotty Campground is a nice place. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Buckhorn Lake. Get wet paddling on Scott River, and spots like Muse Meadow are fine to take a look at. Just can't get enough of the Klamath Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak

| | and hit Salmon River, and you can go for a hike on the Garden Gulch Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Deacon Lee Trail; Buckhorn Lake sits in the shade of the Marble Mountains. The high level of rain makes Buckhorn Lake a rather wet site; the wettest month of the year is generally December, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is July. are in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Buckhorn Lake dip into the 30's. And that's not all there is to do here in
the Klamath Mountains. Boulder Peak can be seen from Buckhorn Lake, and a perfect close by hotel is Baymont Inn Yreka. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Tanners Peak Trail is always a delightful adventure, and Spring
Flat Campground is a good campground here. This lake is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains.
