     Throughout the long summer days highs here at Buckhorn Lake reach the 80's with night lows in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Buckhorn Lake. While you're here at Buckhorn Lake, you could also stop by pretty Seven Lakes, and soar down the rapids of Pit River in a kayak. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things to do are really plentiful here at Buckhorn Lake. Buckhorn Lake is right by the Bunchgrass Trail, and  
   get yourself into a kayak and hit Pit River.
There's so much to do here at Buckhorn Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cutter Place Campground is a wonderful spot for that, and some close by water includes Hunt Creek. Buckhorn Lake is one of the lakes here in the Southern Cascade Range. And that's not all there is to do here in the Southern Cascade Range. It's always great to go to Clover Creek Springs; hiking along the Heart Lake Twin Meadows
 
               Trail is pleasant fun.
This lake is so wonderful. Blue Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by; Lassen Volcanic National Park is a tremendous national park. Buckhorn Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically January, that's the one that snows the most, and July on the other hand is the driest. Just can't get enough of the Southern Cascade Range. From Buckhorn Lake you acquire a splendid view of Miller Mountain, and going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 17 will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Old Cow Creek Campground.

This peak is trailless, meaning a portion or all of the route up the mountain is via an unmarked trail.
