     California has many beautiful lakes and Buck Lake is one of them. All year is a fine time in the Central Sierra Nevada if you go for the outdoors. Paddling on Stanislaus River - Middle Fork is so much fun, and most likely you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Buck Lake is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. So much fun stuff to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada, too good to be true. Baker Campground is a great campground here;  
   there is a great hiking trail close by called the Silver King Trail.
It is very dry here at Buck Lake frequently; January is when you get the most rain here while July is frequently the driest month. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the vicinity of Buck Lake. Buck Lake Dam is a location that is in close proximity to Buck Lake; the Early Emigrant and Indian Trail is a fine hiking trail nearby. If you need a place to stay Pinecrest Chalet
 
               is a perfect choice; get drenched paddling on Cherry Creek - West Fork.
This lake is so wonderful. Evergreen Lodge Yosemite is a glorious place to get some rest, and you can hit the slopes at Dodge Ridge in the neighborhood. Buck Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada. If you came for an overnight stay Deadman Campground is a fine site to camp; going for a hike on the Ten Lakes Trail is always a good adventure.
For the period of the days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Buck Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Buck Lake.
