The park has 32 RV spaces in a well-landscaped area of nearly four acres, with an adjoining nature trail and creek. There are laundry facilities, a volleyball grass court, horseshoe pits and a gazebo and picnic area with a barbecue. A grocery store and steak house are within walking distance. Lone Mountain RV Resort is built on property that has been in one family for nearly 100 years. It was purchased by Herbert Woodbury in 1910, and then went to his son, Bill, in 1950, and to Bill's son Glenn in 1990. Owners Glenn and Lori Woodbury said the park is situated in an ideal setting. There are hundreds of things to do and enjoy so you don't waste fuel traveling from place to place,'' Glenn Woodbury said.
The area has the densest concentration of wild and scenic rivers in the West and a unique diversity of plants and habitat. Woodbury said the amazing variety of flowers draws visitors from throughout the world.
