THIS PARK IS THE MOST QUIET, SERENE, CLEANEST FACILITY (FOR GROUPS) THAT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. IT IS JUST FAR ENOUGH AWAY FROM TOWN THAT YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE IN THE WILDERNESS, BUT JUST CLOSE ENOUGH TO GO TO TOWN TO GET THAT VERY SPECIAL THING YOU LIVE WITHOUT. THE OPERATORS ARE ON TOP OF EVERYTHING! FROM MAKING SURE YOUR GROUP HAS A GREAT TIME TO KEEPING THE RESTROOM/SHOWERS IMMACULATE, TO THE BEST SECURITY ANY ONE PLACE COULD OFFER. FROM RVING TO GIRLSCOUTS, THIS PLACE IS MADE FOR RELAXING! THE LANDSCAPE IS BEAUTIFUL, AND THE WELL MANTAINED GROUP SITES OFFER CLEAN WIDE TABLES, FIRE PITS, LIGHTS AND NO LOUD RADIOS OR VOICES AT THE NEXT SITE TO PUT UP WITH LATE INTO THE NIGHT. YOUR GROUP SEEMS TO BE THE ONLY GROUP IN THE CAMPGRUND! I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD ABOUT KENNEY GROVE PARK! MAKE YOUR RESERVATION TODAY!!...

Hi, please take a look at the attached photo.  I took it today in La Jolla Canyon, at the water fall (dry now).  Notice that a large rock appears to be loose and or without support.  It looks like the rock is supporting the trail above.  Someone should take a closer look at that rock.  In heavy rain it could come down.  It looks unstable....

I stopped by here because I noticed there was rock worth exploring for climbing, but when I approached the gate, it said the area was closed to the public. This seemed like a great place to visit, get some climbing in and then take a dip in the lake. If anyone has any further information about the closing, please post it....
