There's a fine forest right next door to Brownstone Reservoir called Kenney Groye, and camping is available at Kenney Grove Park. This lake is so wonderful. Brownstone Reservoir is right by the Upper Sespe River Trail; Glen Tavern Inn is a splendid place to get some rest. Just can't get enough of Brownstone Reservoir. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Last Chance Trail, and people from Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura       love to come here. All through the summer months at Brownstone Reservoir highs are generally in the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 60's with temperatures at Brownstone Reservoir dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is one of the destinations in the vicinity of Brownstone Reservoir that are great to go to, and get yourself                  into a kayak and hit Piru Creek. Around Brownstone Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rain; through February this area sees the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Be careful coming to the Sierra Madre, you might not ever wanna go back home again. A visit to Snow Canyon is always fun; if you need a location to stay Best Western La Posada Motel is a tremendous choice. Brownstone Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Sierra Madre. This lake is so wonderful. The Whiteacre Peak Trail offers hiking at its best; if you came for an overnight stay Cross Campground is a great place to camp. That right there is plenty of amusing things already but it goes on, the Sierra Madre has it all.
