There's so much to do here at Brownstone Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Cross       Campground is a good location for that, and there's some flowing water nearby, Boulder Creek is a stream you can go to while here. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Sierra Madre. You might want to pay a visit to Snow Canyon if you're here at Brownstone Reservoir, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Piru Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you haven’t been to Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, you ought to schedule                  some time for it since you're here; naturally, this is a great neighborhood for people who like lakes, Lake Piru is a lake around here.
