If you need a spot to stay Best Western Tree House Motor Inn is a great choice, and nearby Box Canyon is a wonderful spot to go. So much cool stuff to do at Browns Lake, so little time. A short spree to Big Springs is always worthwhile, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Siskiyou Lake. Go for a hike on the Crags Trail. Lakes are delightful; Lake Siskiyou is a lake that's near Browns Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping

| | at Mt Shasta Koa Kampground is always a delightful experience, and if you come at the right time of year, Sacramento River offers some great whitewater. An average amount of rain falls at Browns Lake; January is the wettest month with most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. going for a hike along the Sisson Calahan National Recreation Trail. Browns Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Chateau Shasta Mobile Home Park is a nice local campground, and soar down the rapids of Sacramento River
in a kayak. The Woodsman Hotel is a great spot to get some rest, and there are brilliant sites to discover along the Castle Lake Trail. This site is so good, just explore all the fun stuff to do close to Browns Lake. You can never
get enough of the great skiing at Mount Shasta. At Browns Lake throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 20's
for Browns Lake. Don't forget to take a splendid little journey to Big Springs Creek, and Quail Hill is a peak you can observe from Browns Lake.
