Sure, Bluff Lake is close to Brown Lake, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Bishop is a perfect site to spend a night or two. Brown Lake is pretty dry generally; the wettest month of the year is mostly January, that's the one that rains the most; June meanwhile is the driest month. High temperatures at Brown Lake through the warm days of summer are in the 90's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. The wintertime       comes with highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Brown Lake fall into the 20's. So much fun stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada, just amazing. Don't miss out on a tour to Devils Postpile National Monument if you're here at Brown Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Central Sierra Nevada. Near Brown Lake you stumble on the Kings River Trail which is a good hiking trail. You'll need more than a                  day to look at everything Brown Lake has to offer, you can camp at Willow Campground. Just can't get enough of Brown Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Bishop; going for a hike on the John Muir Trail - Pacific Crest Section is always a good adventure. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada. Chocolate Peak is clearly visible from Brown Lake, and you're in all probability keen on lakes, Green Lake is one of those close by. Get covered with water paddling on Kings River - Middle Fork.
