If you like the outdoors, you'll go for Briles Reservoir. Briles Reservoir is a good place to visit for more than one day, Plum Valley Campground is a good place to camp nearby, and do take a hike on the Crane Mountain National Recreation Trail. Summer at Briles Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime       come with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Briles Reservoir during the wintertime generally plunge into the 10's. Stay the night at Cedar Pass Campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Highgrade Trail. Some of the water close by flows, like Ross Creek; if you need a location to stay Super 8 Alturas is a good choice. Briles Reservoir gets very little rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily December, that's the one that snows                  the most while July is regularly the driest month.
