Bright Dot Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Summertime at Bright Dot Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Bright Dot Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Devils Postpile National Monument is a national park worth checking out, and don't leave Bright Dot Lake without

| | first going for a hike along the Mammoth Rock Trail. A wonderful nearby hotel is Rodeway Inn Sierra Nevada, and if you come at the right time of year, San Joaquin River - South Fork offers some brilliant whitewater.
At Bright Dot Lake you don’t see much rainfall; throughout the month of January you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is June. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the area near Bright Dot Lake has | |

to offer. If you need a place to stay Mammoth Creek Inn is a great choice, and Mammoth Mountain has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff. Just can't get enough of the Central Sierra Nevada. Camping is available at Upper McGee Creek
Campground, of course you could also explore Cloverleaf Lake since you're here; it's not far at all.
Bright Dot Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada. Hit the slopes at June Mountain in the neighborhood, and Bright
Dot Lake is not the only place nearby, Convict Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are great sites to look at along the Sherwin Lakes Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Mono Creek.
And if that's not enough
there's heaps more cool stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Why not camp at Lake Crowley Campground since you're here at Bright Dot Lake, and the peak of Mount Aggie can be observed from Bright Dot Lake.
