Camping at Hetch Hetchy Backpackers Campground is always a nice experience, and do take a hike on the Eagle Peak Trail. A lot of rain falls at Branigan Lake; January is the month that gets the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Branigan Lake while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. The winter brings       highs down to the 40's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Branigan Lake temperatures descend to the 20's. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Dodge Ridge while you're here, and close by you come across perfect places like Jack Main Canyon. Get drenched paddling on Tuolumne River, and Andrews Lake is a good lake nearby. At Branigan Lake you can spot Andrews Peak. Camping is available at Hetch Hetchy Campground, and why not take                  a refreshing hike along the Hetch Hetchy Trail. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Branigan Lake.
