What a nice lake Box Lake is. Box Lake ordinarily gets a large amount of precipitation; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Be careful coming to the Southern Cascade Range, you might not ever want to go home again. While you're here at Box Lake it's a tremendous idea to check out Thousand Lakes Valley; a tour to Box Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Cornaz

| | Spring. Yeah, come up here to the Southern Cascade Range for a nice time. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Box Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cypress Campground, and paddling on Pit River is so much fun.
A fine close by hotel is Bailey Creek Cottages, and Pit River has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. There's so much to do here at Box Lake that you need to camp | |

here for a while, Bunchgrass Campground is a brilliant location for that, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Chaos Crags Trail. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Bunchgrass Trail; Eiler Butte is clearly visible
from Box Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Box Lake, for example Barrett Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is fine here at Box Lake, you can go for a hike along the Heart Lake Twin
Meadows Trail, and Lassen Volcanic National Park is one of the destinations that are nice to explore close by. Box Lake is one of the lakes here in the Southern Cascade Range.
For the period of the summer highs here at Box Lake
reach the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Box Lake.
