Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! Box Lake rocks! Don’t forget to take a look at Mosquito Flat while you're here at Box Lake; you can stay the night at Mosquito Flat Campground. For the period of the summertime months highs here at Box Lake get into the 70's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's with temperatures at Box Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.

| | This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Mammoth Mountain; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Mono Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Devils Postpile National Monument is a very nice location to go to near Box Lake, and there are other places here than Box Lake, for example Heart Lake. and the peak of Mount Morgan can be made out from Box Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Box Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lake Inlet Campground. Around Box Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the
month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is June. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada. And if that's not enough there's plenty more exciting things to do in the

at Mammoth Creek Inn, and going for a hike along the Sherwin Lakes Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Central Sierra
Nevada. Mono Pass is next to Box Lake and is a magnificent place, and if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Mammoth Rock Trail.
