This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Fordyce Creek, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Soda Springs. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Bowman Lake. All through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs       in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Bowman Lake through the wintertime ordinarily sink into the 20's. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Bowman Lake; some exciting geology is available here, Windy Point Cliffs is right here. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. The skiing at Royal Gorge is good, and a great place to go to is Poison Canyon. This place, the Northern Sierra Nevada, has                  so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Not far from Bowman Lake, you'll locate McMurray Lake which is a stunning lake. There's so much to do here at Bowman Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Weaver lake Campground is a tremendous place for that. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Bowman Lake has it all. Here at Bowman Lake there are plenty of folks from Truckee-Grass Valley. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bowman Lake has to offer, you can camp at McMurray Campground. If you need a location to stay Chalet View Lodge is a brilliant choice, and whitewater paddling is good on Yuba River - North Fork. So much amusing stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada, not enough time. Take a side tour to Toms Creek, and going for a hike along the Bowman Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. You get a nice view of Bowman Mountain from Bowman Lake, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Crooked Lakes Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Deer Creek Inn, and if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Round Lake Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. Don’t forget to check out Loney Meadow if you're here at Bowman Lake, and Weaver Dam is a spot that is close to Bowman Lake.
