If you are in Trinity county it's always a good idea to stop by Boulder Lake. There are other locations here than Boulder Lake, for example Tapie Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Goldfield Campground is a wonderful place to camp. This lake is located in the wonderful Klamath Mountains. Ycatapom Peak is clearly visible from Boulder Lake, and whitewater paddling is great on Coffee Creek.

| | been to Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, you must schedule some time for it since you're here, and get wet paddling on Trinity River. And if that's not enough there's a load more fun things to do in the Klamath Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Boulder Lake is right by the Deacon Lee Trail, and why not camp at Goldfish Campground if you're here at Boulder Lake.

good spot like Cub Wallow here at Boulder Lake is too magnificent to miss, and Lilypad Lake is a tremendous lake nearby. Boulder Lake is a good spot of typical rain; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain
while July is typically the driest month. Summertime at Boulder Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's, and overnight lows at Boulder Lake through the wintertime ordinarily dip into the 20's.
