Bottleneck Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Sabrina Campground is a wonderful local campground; Lamarck Col is another good site to explore close by. You can run the rapids of San Joaquin River - South Fork right next door to Bottleneck Lake, and the John Muir Trail - Pacific Crest Section offers hiking at its best. High temperatures at Bottleneck Lake through       the summertime are in the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's while Bottleneck Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 20's. These mountains rock, just explore all the entertaining things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. There's whitewater on Kings River - Middle Fork for all you adrenaline kick people, and a lake nearby is Baboon                  Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Some nearby water includes Darwin Creek; Bottleneck Lake is right by the Kings River Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Bishop. Having a nice time at Bottleneck Lake is uncomplicated. You get a wonderful vista of Mount Lamarck from Bottleneck Lake, and after a long day outdoors Bishop-Days Inn is a great place to spend a night or two. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Sierra Nevada. No need to travel far to have a look at interesting stuff like Darwin Glacier. There's so much to do here at Bottleneck Lake that you need to camp here for a while, North Lake Campground is a good place for that.
