Pescadero Creek is a splendid whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Borondo Lake, and if you've had enough of Borondo Lake, Lagunita is close by. There's so much to do here at Borondo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Portola Redwoods State Park is a pleasant site for that, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Lorenzo River. So much entertaining stuff                  near Borondo Lake, just impressive. Elephant Mountain is clearly visible from Borondo Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Trappers Trail. Borondo Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Trailer Villa is a nice local campground. For the duration of the summertime months at Borondo Lake highs are frequently in the 70's while night lows are commonly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's while Borondo Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 40's. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Coyote Ridge Trail, and why not take a little journey to Arastradero Creek since you're here. Borondo Lake is a location that is quite waterless mostly; the month with most of the rain is January while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Summit Trail, and a good nearby hotel is Stanford Terrace Inn.
