Beautiful Borondo Lake has much to offer visitors. It is very arid here at Borondo Lake frequently; January is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is July. Borondo Lake is one of the lakes here in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Any time is a nice time at Borondo Lake if you like the outdoors. From Borondo Lake you acquire a nice view of Elephant Mountain, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Pescadero Creek.

| | do here in the Santa Cruz Mountains, too great to be true. Go for a hike on the Trappers Trail, and an afternoon playing golf at Emerald Hills Golf Course is always a diversion. This lake is so wonderful. Portola Redwoods State Park is a good campground nearby; you can run the rapids of San Lorenzo River. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Borondo Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara.

along the Coyote Ridge Trail, and Borondo Lake is a splendid spot to visit for more than one day, Trailer Villa is a splendid spot to camp nearby. Man, is there a load of amusing stuff to do in the Santa Cruz Mountains. If you need
a place to stay Stanford Terrace Inn is a fine choice, and don't leave Borondo Lake without first going for a hike along the Summit Trail. Dry warm beds await you at National at Oak Creek Palo Alto, and of course Arastradero Creek
is a pretty stream that is worth visiting.
High temperatures at Borondo Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 70's while night lows are commonly in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 50's; nighttime lows during the winter for Borondo Lake tend to be in the 40's.
